Elliptical construction কাকে বলে? Elliptical construction  বলতে একটি বাক্যে পুনরাবৃত্তি এড়াতে অর্থ অপরিবর্তিত রেখে কিছু শব্দ বা শব্দসমষ্টিকে বাদ দেয়া বোঝায়। Elliptical construction  refers to the elimination of some word or words to avoid repetition in a sentence provided that the meaning will be unchanged.   Negation কাকে বলে? কোন বিষয় যে সত্য নয় তা ব্যক্ত করা প্রয়োজনীয় হয়ে পড়লে কোন না-বোধক শব্দ, phrase বা clause ব্যবহার করে তা করা যেতে পারে। আর এই নাবোধক শব্দ, phrase বা clause-গুলোকেই বলা হয়  Negation । When it is necessary to state that a fact is not true, it can be done by using any negative words, phrases or clauses.
